Exciting Opportunity - Social Media Coordinator - Longthorpe Preschool

Longthorpe Preschool is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help us showcase the wonderful learning, play, and community spirit that make our preschool so special.

About the Role:

As our Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across our social media platforms. You'll capture the everyday magic at Longthorpe Preschool, celebrate children's achievements, and keep our community updated with news and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver a social media strategy in line with the preschool's values and ethos Create engaging posts, photos, and short videos to highlight our activities and events Manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely communication Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow our online presence Work with staff to ensure content is safe, appropriate, and celebrates the preschool community

What We're Looking For:

Experience managing social media accounts (personal, professional, or voluntary) Strong communication and creative skills Ability to use tools such as Canva, Instagram, and Facebook An understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality when working with children's content A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude
