The Opportunity
We're seeking a creative, intuitive, and strategically minded
Social Media Coordinator
to join our community through our
Work Exchange Programme
. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a passion for storytelling with soul, and is excited to help us bring the magic of The Dreaming to life through engaging and aligned digital content.
Working closely with our Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering our
social media strategy
, with the goal of growing our audience, driving retreat bookings, and sharing meaningful, beautiful stories that capture the transformative nature of what we offer.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Planning
Create and schedule captivating social media content (video, photo, text) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn that reflects the unique voice, values, and aesthetic of The Dreaming.
Capture and edit on-site footage to showcase the landscape, retreats, and participant experiences with warmth and authenticity.
Ensure every piece of content feels intentional and aligned with the themes of rest, transformation, nature, and spiritual connection.
Social Media Strategy
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to plan and execute an aligned content calendar around upcoming specialist retreats, launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Contribute ideas to shape broader storytelling strategies across digital platforms.
Suggest and experiment with new content formats or trends that could elevate visibility and engagement.
Campaign Support
Tailor content to support key marketing initiatives and highlight campaign-specific offerings (e.g. Samhain Retreat, Summer Solstice, Witch Retreat).
Work with the team to ensure messaging is cohesive and timely across all channels.
Community Engagement
Engage with comments, messages, and tagged content to nurture an inclusive and uplifting online community.
Build relationships with guests, contributors, and aligned creators to amplify our message.
Analytics & Refinement
Monitor performance data (engagement, reach, growth) and make suggestions for optimisation.
Share monthly insights and ideas for improvement based on analytics.
Newsletter & Subscription Content
Support in crafting emails, newsletters, subscription content and blog posts that echo the voice of The Dreaming and support digital campaigns.
Creative Contributions
Assist in developing creative ideas for upcoming campaigns, reels, retreats, or editorial features that reflect the evolving spirit of the brand.
Bring a fresh lens to how we tell stories about healing, nature, transformation, and magic.

The Ideal Candidate
Has demonstrable experience in social media coordination, content creation, or brand storytelling.
Brings a strong eye for detail and aesthetic, with video and editing skills (Reels, TikToks, Canva, Lightroom etc).
Is strategic and proactive, you don't just post, you plan, track, and evolve content.
Understands how to balance promotion with purpose, weaving emotion and meaning into digital narratives.
Is emotionally intelligent, collaborative, and aligned with the values of The Dreaming, ideally with an interest in spirituality, rest culture, or earth-based wisdom traditions.
Has an intuitive sense for what makes people feel something, and the creativity to turn that into content.
