Job Description

This role will be based at our Bournemouth head office and the core working hours are Monday to Friday \xe2\x80\x93 9am to 5pm, and with the flexibility to work from home two days a week. Occasional weekend/out of hours working required with time given in lieu of any out of hours\xe2\x80\x99 time worked, and working hours can be adjusted to make this more manageable.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Propose, plan and execute our social media strategy in-line with marketing and brand campaign calendar helping us increase our followers, engagement and impact across all platforms.
• Working closely with our Social Media Coordinator on the day-to-day management of social media platforms. Scheduling and publishing content, alongside responding to, and engaging with audiences on all platforms.
• Plan, film and edit social first video content to be used TikTok and Instagram.
• Work collaboratively with the Social Media Video Producer to ensure we\xe2\x80\x99re creating optimized and engaging video content for our brand channels, with particular focus on TikTok.
• Be the team\xe2\x80\x99s lead on social media campaign content. See ideas through from concept to completion and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, and analysis and collate strengths and learnings of a campaign.
• Keep the relevant teams up to date with our campaign content plans as well as the latest trends and behaviors on our social channels.
• Liaise with the Digital Marketing Manager on how our paid and organic content works together, and you will lead on the creation of TikTok paid assets, ensuring they are optimized for the channel.
• Work closely with our network of TikTok stores ensuring they are regularly briefed on priorities and focuses.
• Attend photo and video shoots, capturing video content for brand social channels.
• Deliver relevant training and guidance to our network of Hobbycraft Artisans, to ensure they are confident across all priority social media channels.
• Managing relationships with internal content creators, and external influencers and creators, to ensure our channels are populated with entertaining content that drives social KPIs.
• Work with the customer services team to ensure brand responses on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are concise and accurate and our customer feel informed and supported.
• Take responsibility for weekly social reporting, adding insights and actions and updating on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Strive to ensure our content is always best in class and ahead of the game.

• You\'ll understand online content for the crafty handmade audience.
• Someone who has an interest in craft, making and baking.
• And a passion for the Hobbycraft brand is a must!
• Someone who has a car and is happy to drive to photo and video shoots at our Southampton based studio, Hobbycraft store or shoot location.

Experience:

• A minimum 2 years of experience creating brilliant social media content for a business/brand.
• A confident user of Microsoft Office programs, all social media platforms, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Canva, CapCut and Adobe Creative Suit programs.
• It would be a bonus if you had experience of line management, but this is not essential.
