Co-create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
Monitor industry trends, social listening and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Content Creation & Management:
Co-develop, curate, and schedule engaging and visually appealing content (posts, videos, reels, stories, etc.) for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Linkedin and Twitter/X.
Collaborate with editors, photographers, designers, and copywriters to ensure high-quality content that reflects the brand's voice and values. There will be some need for creating your own content as well as working with other creators.
Write compelling captions, blog posts, and teasers with a focus on storytelling and education about tea.
Community Engagement:
Build and nurture an online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly.
Foster relationships with tea enthusiasts, influencers, and brand advocates.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyse key performance metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, click-through rates, etc.).
Prepare monthly reports to share insights, successes, and areas for improvement.
Campaigns & Collaborations:
Plan and execute promotional campaigns, giveaways, and collaborations with influencers or complementary brands.
Make use of all content generation effectively with cross-posting and re-working for different platforms.
Oversee any paid social advertising initiatives to drive awareness and conversions.
Stay informed about emerging trends and new features on social platforms to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
Experiment with creative formats and strategies to engage and grow our audience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2+ years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably for a lifestyle or specialty brand.
Proven ability to create content (reels/shorts/photographic) which are well-produced and engaging.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling skills; familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for tea, food and drink is essential. A passionate desire to learn about tea culture, varieties, and brewing techniques is required and any previous experience would be useful.
