About the Role
The Social Media Executive will join our digital marketing team with the aim of promoting the company's online visibility, reach and engagement, through effective use of social media. You'll be responsible for creating and delivering engaging content across multiple channels, geographic regions, product sectors, and business units. Working closely with the wider marketing team, you'll ensure all activity supports overarching marketing objectives and commercial goals. This role has a strong focus on content creation, so we are looking for someone who has excellent skills in graphic design and content writing.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute the social media strategy, with clearly defined tactics and goals.
Promote the brand, products, services and values across all platforms.
Create and deliver engaging content for campaigns, including content writing and posting.
Design graphics to help support campaigns.
Create and maintain the content calendar for each channel.
Develop a strong global community for Metamark.
Engage and respond to posts.
Execute activities well across all social media channels.
Engage well with customers and dealers.
Track, analyse and report on performance against agreed KPIs, including reach and engagement.
Contribute to other digital initiatives as needed.
Objectives and goals
Driving growth across channels, the geographic and product strategy, in line with KPIs.
Create a strong, and highly respected brand reputation on social.
Keep up to date and on top of the latest technologies and trends.
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the company.
Support the objectives of the management team, and wider digital marketing team.
Candidate Requirements
2+ Years experience in a senior social media role.
Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
Experience running paid social media campaigns (ad targeting, budgeting, reporting).
Good content writing basic skills.
Excellent Graphic design skills (preferred).
Strong understanding of social media strategy and platform algorithms.
Strong understanding of scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sked).
Able to use tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator easily.
Ability to plan, create, and edit short-form and long-form video content.
Basic understanding of SEO principles as they apply to social media.
Experience running paid social media campaigns (ad targeting, budgeting, reporting).
A proactive team player with a creative mindset and strong attention to detail
