JOB HIGHLIGHT


As a Social Media Intern at charity: water UK, you'll help grow our newly launched UK Instagram channel and bring our online voice to life. You'll develop creative content, collaborate with brand partners, and engage our community to increase awareness of the water crisis and our mission to solve it. Reporting to the Brand Partnerships and Marketing Manager, you'll work closely with a passionate UK team and external creative partners to build a powerful and purposeful presence on social media.

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR...

Supporting the implementation of our UK organic social media strategy Creating content that aligns with brand tone and audience interests Shooting, editing, and posting content for Instagram Collaborating with our in-house team and creative agency to ideate fresh content Monitoring engagement and helping grow our online community Assisting with reporting on performance metrics and trends Maintaining content calendars and social workflow

YOU MUST HAVE...

A passion for social media and eagerness to learn the ins and outs of digital content Experience using Canva (or similar tools) to design compelling visuals Demonstrated experience running social media accounts (personal or professional) A self-starting attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail and a willingness to refine and improve A good design instinct and natural storytelling ability Reliable internet and a quiet space for remote working

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience with Mac and Google Workspace Familiarity with social media scheduling or listening tools like Sprout Social Ability to interpret basic analytics and metrics Exposure to research or data collection in a marketing context
