We've recently welcomed a new Communications Director who is shaping our Group-wide strategy - and now we're looking for a

Social Media Lead

to bring that vision to life.


About the Role





As Social Media Lead, you'll be responsible for how our brands show up across social platforms - building trust, driving engagement and helping define what modern, purpose-driven financial services look and feel like.



You'll lead a small but mighty team of social media specialists, collaborating across functions to deliver a joined-up, insight-led approach to content and community management. You'll be a key voice in how we manage our reputation online, responding to emerging trends and creating content that truly resonates.



This role offers real variety - from setting strategy and leading campaigns, to crafting content and defining performance objectives. You'll champion creativity and ensure our social media presence reflects the values we stand for and the future we're building.

Location:

We operate on a team ledhybrid approach our managers are best placed to understand both your needs and the needs of the business area; they're empowered to make day to day decisions about where you can work and what's best for hybrid teams. Our offices are based Coventry & Manchester.

About you

You're excited about purpose-led storytelling and inspired by the chance to shape a bold and impactful social media presence. With deep expertise in social - gained either in-house or within an agency - you bring strategic clarity, creative energy and a collaborative mindset that thrives in a fast-moving, values-led environment.


To be successful in this role it's essential you have:




Proven experience in leading and growing a brand's social media presence (whether at an agency or in house), with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns and content strategies. Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, tools, and analytics, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive brand awareness and engagement. Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with experience developing and executing multi-channel social media strategies. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present confidently to senior leaders.

Desirable experience will be:




Experience in managing or mentoring a team. Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Sprout, Hootsuite, Brandwatch) and performance analytics platforms. A passion for purpose-led brands and a genuine interest in how social media can shape perception and drive positive change.
