We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our messaging aligns with our brand values and objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience and promotes brand awareness.
Content Design and Creation: 2- 3 posts per week
Content Management : scheduling and posting of content 2- 3 times per week (reposted over 3- 4 social media channels).
Planning: A brief weekly catch up call to review progress and plans
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives.
Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as necessary.
Manage public relations efforts through social media channels to enhance the company's reputation.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management.
Skills & Requirements
Ability to come on site to take good content for the social media brand.
Excels at on-site content creation and understands the importance of visual storytelling.
Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a similar role.
Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design tools or software is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A passion for social media trends and emerging technologies is essential.
