RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community Engagement

. Reactively and proactively communicating with clients' followers, customers and influencers, across a range of social media platforms.

Client Communication

. On-going communications with our clients, reporting back to them regularly about the activity across their social media accounts.

Creative Contribution

. All members of the Sushi team are expected to muck-in with the creative process, contributing to the development of clients' creative campaigns, strategies, and more.

Social Media Strategy Development

. Collaborate with clients and our internal team to develop and refine tailored social media strategies that align with their business goals, audience, and brand identity.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

. Stay on top of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and new features to ensure clients remain at the cutting edge of digital marketing.

Performance Analysis & Optimisation

. Analyse the performance of social media campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and others. Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations and adjustments to improve results.

Competitor & Market Analysis

. Conduct regular audits of competitors' social media activity, identifying opportunities for improvement and differentiation in our clients' strategies.

Content Scheduling and Posting

. Handling the daily posting of client content (e.g. Facebook Posts, Instagram Stories, TikToks etc.), working closely with our creative team.

Copywriting

. Write well written English across captions, posts, private messages etc., adjusting tone of voice on a client-by-client basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

Social media experience

. 3-4+ years of experience working in social media, either in-house with a brand or with an agency.

Food & Drink / Consumer Goods experience

. A track record of working on social media accounts for Food and Drink brands would be preferable.

Passion for digital media and brands

. You must show a strong understanding of our core services and have a real fascination for how brands use digital marketing to grow their business.

AI-savvy

. Up to speed with the latest AI tools, enthusiastic about their potential to bring efficiency to workflows and impact to social media. Confident in using core AI tools, with curiosity to explore new ones as they emerge and the ability to integrate them effectively into day-to-day work.

Comfortable on camera

. Experience, enthusiasm and willingness to feature in brand content - whether that's appearing in TikTok videos, showcasing or holding products, or engaging with people at events.

Organised and diligent

. The onus is on you to keep your work and systems in check, tracking client account performance, ongoing communication with influencers, scheduled content, and more.

Strategic thinking

. Ability to contribute to long-term social media strategies that drive growth and brand development, while staying ahead of trends and opportunities.

Data-driven mindset

. Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Iconosquare) and the ability to analyse data, derive insights, and recommend optimisations.

Project management skills

. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects across different client accounts, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

Creative problem-solving

. Proactively identifying challenges and providing creative solutions to enhance client success in social media marketing.

Understanding of paid social campaigns

. Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads).

Team collaboration

. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with creative teams, clients, and influencers to achieve shared goals.

Technical proficiency

. Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and an ability to quickly adapt to new platforms and technologies.

Excellent writing skills

. This is an essential skill for this role, as the successful candidate will need to write well-crafted English in a variety of tones. Strong copywriting experience would therefore be very useful.

Other languages

. Although not essential, French, Spanish, Italian, or German language skills would be a bonus.
