Job Title: Social Media Manager

Reports To: Director Of Sales & Marketing

Location: London office (2 days per week minimum in office and 1 day on site at client venues) with travel to locations as required

Hours: Variable to suit needs of the business - will include evenings and weekends where needed

Salary: 30,000

Role Purpose

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and growing the social media presence of The Metroguard Group and Double Check Security Group as well as their subsidiary companies in the UK and overseas. The role requires a creative and proactive approach to producing engaging content, driving growth of key accounts, and generating direct business leads through targeted outreach. The Social Media Manager plays a key role in showcasing the Group's expertise, supporting client acquisition, and enhancing the company's brand presence across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

? Execute a social media content strategy as outlined by the director aligned with business growth objectives and brand guidelines.

? Create high-quality, engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant platforms as required, including text, images, graphics and short-form video.

? Plan and maintain an active posting schedule, optimising timing and format for audience engagement.

? Proactively engage with target prospects and their company social media channels, particularly on LinkedIn, to support lead generation and account growth.

? Build relationships with key audiences online through regular interaction, commenting, and direct outreach.

? Monitor analytics and engagement data, report on performance, and adjust strategies to improve reach and lead conversion.

? Collaborate with the business development and operational teams to identify campaigns and client stories to feature.

? Attend client sites, live events, and operational locations to capture on-the-ground content.

? Act as a representative of the brand during events and photo/video shoots.

? Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner, managing the company's reputation online.

Person Specification

Essential:

? Proven experience managing social media accounts for a B2B organisation, with measurable results.

? Strong copywriting, storytelling, and visual content creation skills.

? Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

? Familiarity with LinkedIn and other platforms for business development and lead generation.

? Ability to travel to client locations as needed and to work occasional weekends.

? Confident communicator, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in identifying opportunities for engagement.

? Understanding of brand voice and consistency across channels.

Desirable:

? Experience in security, hospitality, retail, or events industries.

? Knowledge of short-form video editing.

? Experience running paid campaigns on social media platforms

.

Working Conditions

? Office based in London a minimum of 2 days per week, 3 days per week if not on client location.

? Travel to client locations as required.

? Working hours are flexible around business needs with some evening and weekend work required for events or content capture.
