Our Discover feature gives our users the ability to find exciting pubs, restaurants and events near them using our unique filters so they always feel connected to the city they are in.
Shared house or holiday? Set up a group in seconds and keep track of expenses. The friend who owes you for that takeaway? Simply text them a link and they can pay you instantly, no matter what bank they have. So, whether it's flights or food, bills or beers, a taxi or takeaway, the app will do the hard work for you.

The Role
We are looking for a creative and hands-on
Social Media Manager
who will own our social media output, end-to-end. You'll be responsible for planning, creating, and posting engaging content across our social channels to excite and educate our community. You'll be the voice, style, and personality of Oosh on socials.
Working closely with our Head of Growth, you'll develop and deliver content that fits our agreed brand pillars and drives awareness and growth.
The role is based in the Bank (London) area 4 days per week with the Head of Growth and 1 day working remotely. You will also be expected to travel to the Winchester (Hampshire) office 1-2 times per month for meetings with the rest of the team.
Responsibilities
Content strategy & planning:
Develop and maintain a clear content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin and other relevant platforms. Define content themes, formats, and posting frequency in line with Oosh's brand positioning, marketing campaigns, and community needs.
Content creation:
Shoot, edit, and publish high-quality content (video, photo and blogs etc) that reflects Oosh's brand voice and engages our audience. You will tell the story of our startup as well as app based content. You must be comfortable being actively in-front and behind the camera.
Community engagement:
Actively engage with our community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions to build loyalty and strong audience connections.
What we're looking for:
Experience
: At least
2 years
hands-on experience managing and growing social media channels (either corporate or personal on TikTok and Instagram). Must have a track record in delivering measurable growth and engagement. A degree is preferable but not essential.
Creativity
: A sharp eye for engaging content with the ability to efficiently plan, shoot, and edit video, photo, and written content. Confident using editing platforms (e.g CapCut etc) and other creative tools to bring your ideas to life.
Agility
: Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing, startup environment, with the ability to spot opportunities, react quickly to trends, and adapt content plans accordingly.
Organisation
: Strong planning skills to manage content calendars, posting schedules, and reporting.
Collaboration
: An open, communicative team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues across all areas of the business.
