Your role as Social Media Manager




You will be responsible for managing client partner's social presence and activities, community management and creating content. The role will encompass a wide range of disciplines and skills, including strategy development, project management, customer service and working closely with the paid social team on client delivery.


Main Accountabilities will include but are not limited to:

Strategy Development



Work with, and guide, the social team throughout the year to ensure our strategies are being activated to the highest standard, constantly looking for ways to level up Develop social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement Analyse the long-term needs of the client's social media strategy and offering quarterly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan Liaise with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy

Project Management



Build and maintain great client relationships across multiple industries and markets Manage the social media output for our client partners (content development, ensuring the client has approved the assets, scheduling and community management)

Customer Service



Build best-in-class employer brand social strategies across our client base, ensuring we're blending data and creativity across all of our output Be knowledgeable about clients and be seen as a trusted partner by them

Content Creation



Create captivating creative campaigns for social channels Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, drawing inspiration from successful content campaigns Develop and oversee competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts

Collaboration



Share Social client objectives to the wider agency teams so that tactics other than Social can be considered and proposed to clients, allowing them to take advantage of our integrated service offer Work collaboratively with other departments to contribute to proposals, share ideas and expertise and problem solve to ensure a high quality and seamless experience for our brand partners

Reporting



Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams Set measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)

Budgets



Achieve agreed agency rates for work, which in turn will ensure that agency client accounts are profitable Monitor client spend so that they are aligned with allocated budgets Responsible for having an understanding of our brand partner and agency budgets and be forthcoming with how the Agency can maximise profitability

Other responsibilities



Undertake continuing professional development and training, to ensure you keep your knowledge, expertise and experience up to date Present and promote a professional public image in representing the agency Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required, appropriate with the post You may be expected to participate in events and promotions where the team requires representation; sometimes helping out with the organisation of the events upfront Some of these may be outside of your normal working hours Participation in the Agency appraisal scheme and undertaking any professional development as identified with your manager To adhere to the company handbook and comply with relevant legislation

What we'd like you to bring to the role



Qualifications





A relevant undergraduate degree such as marketing, communication, social media, (English Literature is normally expected but not essential)

Experience & Knowledge



2-3 years of experience in a similar role Extensive experience in / knowledge of working with various social media platforms * Confident in communicating and reporting to clients both in person and via digital meetings
