Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa are looking for a

Social Media Marketing and Graphic Designer

to join our fantastic team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and bright individual with a huge passion for marketing, design and the hospitality industry.

This role will undertake the following duties:

- Manage all social media channels, liaising with each department to create engaging content

- Ensure brand consistency across all departments

- Design and print all in-house collateral including menus, brochures, posters and banners

- Research other similar venues and industry sites to keep up to date with the latest trends and ideas

- Update and manage content on the hotel website, keeping it up to date and running smoothly, booking channels and online shop.

- Aid with photography and art direction

About you:

- Experience using Canva, Adobe CC or other design software

- Experience using Hootsuite and Mailchimp (preferred but not essential)

- Knowledge communication hub such as Hijiffy

- Great attention to detail and an eye for good design

- Good understanding of photography and photo editing

- Experience in web design would be a bonus!

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will have a background in design or social media. Perhaps currently studying or recently graduated from a course in this field or have experience in this area.

The hours will generally be five days out of seven and will depend on the business, it will be necessary to photograph and/or be available when marketable/photo friendly events are taking place.

The successful candidate needs to be a great communicator, have a bubbly and outgoing personality, a team player and able to work on their own.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,500.00-27,000.00 per year
