Social Media & Marketing Assistant
to help us elevate our online voice and customer engagement.
About the Role
We're looking for a dynamic individual who loves content creation, social media storytelling and driving results through digital marketing. You'll work closely with our Design Director to shape and share the Cabin Max brand across our digital channels.
This role combines
social engagement, creative thinking and hands-on marketing execution
, especially on social and ad platforms like
Facebook, Instagram
and
TikTok.
The right candidate will have broad experience running and growing a range of social media accounts.Experience with
Google Ads
and
Amazon Advertising
would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
Schedule, post and monitor content in line with our brand voice and seasonal campaigns.
Content Creation:
Plan, shoot and edit compelling photo/video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, ensuring consistency with the brand's identity, aesthetic style and values.
Community Engagement:
Respond to messages, comments and DMs across social platforms to foster a loyal customer base.
Performance Marketing:
Assist in running and optimising campaigns on
Google Ads
and
Amazon Advertising
.
Campaign Support:
Help develop and launch marketing campaigns and product promotions with input from the Design Director.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay up to date with platform updates, viral trends and competitors' strategies.
Reporting:
Track engagement metrics and provide monthly insights to the team.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Experience with Google Ads and/or Amazon PPC
Skilled in using content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe apps)
Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to spelling, grammar and accuracy
Proactive, creative, and highly organised
Comfortable filming short-form video (ideally with confidence in being on-camera if needed)
Nice to Have:
Previous experience in a retail or e-commerce brand
Knowledge of influencer outreach or user-generated content strategies
Basic understanding of SEO or email marketing
