Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, as well as the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target demographic.

Duties

Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts that align with brand messaging. Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities. Collaborate with the team to integrate social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts and adjust strategies accordingly. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management and public relations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management or public relations is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
