We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social media platforms. Please note I need a social media expert that can use their portfolio and skills to hit fundraising targets from Just Giving Campaigns

Duties

Develop and implement effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms. Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, fostering a positive community around the brand. Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency in messaging and visual identity. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and public relations to ensure our strategies remain relevant. Assist in organising online events or campaigns that promote brand initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management or public relations, preferably within a similar industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail. Familiarity with various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using analytics tools to measure performance and derive insights. Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
