Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our brand. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, as well as the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target market.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with the brand's voice and goals. Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. Assist in managing public relations efforts by crafting press releases and coordinating outreach activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media management or a related field. Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
