The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Executive to join our very exciting team based in Norwich.As our Social Media Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing marketing campaigns to promote our clients' products and services. Working alongside the wider social media team using your knowledge and tools, you will support the company in developing our new and existing clients' accounts (B2C & B2B). From occupational health to private air travel, our rapidly expanding industry portfolio is vast.The role can encompass content writing, creative, digital, commercial, technical and administrative responsibilities. You will need to have an understanding of marketing best practices, especially for social media, graphics and video creation.The ideal candidate will be able to authentically capture a client's tone of voice whilst appealing to their target audience. As a marketing enthusiast, you'll have an eye for analytics and be a part of establishing the metrics for success on each account. You'll also be able to use this analysis to suggest future marketing campaigns to clients based on buying patterns, website traffic and current trends. You'll relish in the opportunity to learn something new every day, using market and product research as a platform to enhance your knowledge to position yourself as an expert for each client.Desired ExperienceWe are looking for an individual who has 1-3 years of marketing experience (can include a degree qualification in this field) and is dedicated to developing and applying their creative skills to our business in order to grow our clients' accounts.

  • Solid understanding and 1 years' experience in digital marketing (ideally from a content background), working in a similar role
  • Experience of managing various social media platforms, including the planning, creating and publishing of both organic and paid social content
  • Computer literate, with excellent communication skills and written English
  • An ambitious, self-motivated and well-organised individual with a proactive 'can do' attitude
  • The drive and passion to grow clients' accounts from any sector and achieve their goals
Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
  • Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy for social media
  • Supporting other members of the team on a daily basis
  • Monitoring marketing campaign performance
  • Managing campaigns on social media
  • Creating interesting and impactful written content
  • Analysing key metrics
  • Communicating on a regular basis with your clients to develop a rapport
  • Day to day management of your client's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) to grow new followers, gain interaction and engagement, and promote brand awareness - both on an organic and paid social level (responsible for allocated budgets)
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, be proactive and have the ability to work on your own initiative, effectively multi-tasking in a deadline driven environment
Your Skills
  • Excellent copywriting skills, able to adapt your written voice to suit the client and audience
  • An eye for detail in order to proofread campaigns and projects before they are sent to the client.
  • Ability to work to targets, both setting your own and working within KPIs for our customers
  • Deep understanding of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube
  • Analysing key metrics
  • Confident communication skills, especially over the phone and via email with clients and with other team members
  • Computer literate across all Microsoft Office programs
  • A proven ability to prioritise workload and to switch from one project to another efficiently at any given time
  • A hunger to learn and develop your skills and knowledge for the benefit of your client
