We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in public relations and social media management. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and promoting our brand across various platforms.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and curating engaging content for social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Monitor social media trends and provide insights to enhance our online strategy. Help manage daily social media activities, including posting updates and responding to comments. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that align with our brand objectives. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategies. Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and assisting with media outreach. Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

Strong interest in public relations and social media management. Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective audiences. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not essential. Knowledge of video editing software's such as cap-cut Previous experience or coursework related to marketing, communications, or public relations is advantageous.
