About the Role



This role sits at the heart of our communications, social value, and pre-construction activity. You will shape our public image, build our brand presence online, and ensure our social value commitments are meaningful, measurable, and clearly communicated.

You will work closely with the Company Directors, Pre-Construction team, and Operational teams, ensuring alignment across marketing, bidding, and social value activity. A key element of the role is supporting the Pre-Construction team with administrative tasks and bid-writing input, helping to produce high-quality, compelling tender submissions.

You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve and streamline our marketing and pre-construction support processes, bringing fresh ideas and efficiencies to how we communicate and work.

Projects are primarily within the Education and Healthcare sectors, and the role will support bids, live site activity, and community initiatives with targeted, purposeful content and engagement.

Key Responsibilities



Marketing & Social Media



Lead the planning and delivery of digital marketing activity, with a strong focus on social media (LinkedIn, X, etc.) Create high-quality written and visual content showcasing our projects, people, values, and community impact Capture photos, videos, and stories from live sites and events Develop and manage a consistent content calendar across all platforms Monitor performance and engagement, using analytics to inform future strategy

Social Value Delivery



Coordinate and deliver project-specific Social Value Action Plans (SVAPs), aligned with client objectives and community needs Build and maintain relationships with schools, charities, local authorities, and social enterprises Plan and support community initiatives including volunteering, site visits, workshops, careers events, and engagement days Implement, track, measure, and report social value outcomes clearly and accurately

Pre-Construction & Bid Support



Support the Pre-Construction team with administrative duties, including document preparation, information collation, and coordination Provide bid-writing support, producing high-quality marketing and social value responses for tenders and PQQs Assist in maintaining bid libraries, case studies, and standard content Ensure marketing, social value, and corporate information within bids is consistent, compliant, and compelling Work collaboratively with estimators, bid managers, and directors to meet submission deadlines

What You'll Bring



Experience in marketing, communications, or social value delivery (construction industry experience preferred) A strong understanding of social value within construction or a related sector Confident written communicator Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Comfortable supporting pre-construction teams with administrative and tender-related tasks A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively Familiarity with tender writing, CSR reporting, and marketing tools (e.g. Canva) is advantageous
