CloudNC is transforming global manufacturing with AI that accelerates CAM programming, maximizes factory output, and empowers machinists to deliver more.

Our core product, CAM Assist, speeds up CNC machining by tackling the most time-consuming and repetitive parts of the process, from machining strategy to toolpath generation.

It enables machinists to create effective programs in minutes, unlocking their full potential and helping shops increase throughput and improve consistency.

Today, CAM Assist is trusted by hundreds of machine shops around the world to enhance their teams' productivity, resolving skills shortages and helping them to deliver efficiently for their customers.

Founded in 2015, CloudNC consists of a world-class team combining expertise in computer science and physical manufacturing.

The role

CloudNC has successfully developed an online social media presence, focused mainly on video (see our Instagram, Youtube and Linkedin channels), that promotes our CAM Assist #AI solution, which accelerates CAM programming and toolpath generation.

We are now looking to further build on that success by adding a video specialist to assist our established team (one machinist, one producer) in video filming, conception, editing and production, scaling our output and production quality.

This is a critical channel for driving interest in our company and our solutions, and would suit someone with a creative mindset who is able to bring technical subjects to life. Candidates with strong filming ability are encouraged to apply.

The role

Contribute towards video marketing at CloudNC, working with the existing team Collaborate with the internal team and external parties to conceptualise short, medium and long-format video content that is engaging to our audience and drives CAM Assist downloads. Produce, edit and release this video content via Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Youtube and any other appropriate platform to drive trial downloads of CAM Assist. Measure the performance of this content, and use data to iterate and continuously improve our content's engagement and conversion performance. Bring successful and viral video techniques and formats used in marketing from other industries and sectors into the field of CNC machining.
Essential:

Great working knowledge of professional camera and audio recording equipment, and the skills and techniques to shoot visually compelling content with engagement in mind. You can think creatively on your feet and have the ability to recognise opportunities for content and shoot them accordingly. Proven video editing experience, in both long and especially short-form in a style that pushes a strong narrative and is engaging to view. You will be a great storyteller, no matter the length of the content. You will be up-to-date with what is "on trend" on social media with regards to visual look and feel. Basic/2D motion graphics in either Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects. The ability to correct and grade colour and produce professional-level audio and frame rates and bitrates that are optimal for online platforms.
Desirable

Knowledge and experience of managing the posting of video content on multiple social media accounts, creating catchy captions and titles and scheduling posts for launch at optimal times for greatest reach.
