Requirements:

  • Social Work England registered
  • Experience within section 7s, child protection and court work
  • Extensive Post Qualifying Social Work experience
  • Social Work Qualification
NonStop are currently working with a local authority based near Dudley that have exciting opportunities for Social Workers to join the Court & Child Protection Teams. They are now using the locality model with a focus on good quality assessments and dynamic planning which deliver timely evidence-based interventions and the progress of pre-proceedings/care proceedings through to permanency planning, this service will strengthen partnership working with families in local communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the Assessment & Intervention Teams and be based in the same locality
  • Ensure timescales set by the the Court are consistently met
  • Produce reports for Court, write court statements, care plans and assessments
  • Assessing and analysing key information leading to evidenced-based recommendations for children;
They are committed to lowering cases to an average of 15-18 per social worker. Allowing you to have the time to focus on the cases that you hold in depth, allowing you to make a difference within your role.
