Social Worker - Children In Care Team - Ipswich UK - Full time - 35 - 37 per hour. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team over the next 3 months as a locum Social Worker specialising in the Children in Care Team. What you will do:

• Serve as the case responsible person and allocated social worker for children in care proceedings and children who require long-term care.
• Undertake direct work with children in care, ensuring their lived experiences, wishes, and feelings are understood and included.
• Conduct life story work and produce life story books to help children understand their backgrounds.
• Develop, review, and amend care plans to cater to each child's unique needs.
• Write detailed reports for Children in Care reviews and Court as part of care proceedings.
• Collaborate with the child's carers, parents, family network, and other professionals involved in care planning, such as the child's Independent Reviewing Officer, Guardian, Health and Education partners.
• Travel to various locations, including rural areas, to visit children in placements; therefore, a valid driving licence is essential.
