Cumberland Council is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to support Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) across our schools. Based within the Virtual School team, this unique role bridges education and social care, offering reflective safeguarding supervision to schools and expert advice to social workers. You'll play a vital role in improving outcomes for children by promoting early intervention, trauma-informed practice, and strong multi-agency collaboration.



We're looking for a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, with substantial safeguarding experience and a deep understanding of school environments.
