Social Worker \xe2\x80\x93 Looked After Children \xe2\x80\x93 Home-based Working

\xc2\xa333.30 per hour \xe2\x80\x93 West Midlands

Nonstop are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Looked After Children (LAC) team on a full-time locum basis. This West Midlands local authority has a good reputation and Ofsted so pressures and caseloads are lower than others in the area. LAC social workers within this team support the children and young people up to the age of 21 and conduct visits every 6 weeks for the first year in case and then 12 weeks following this.

What they can offer:

• Home-based working \xe2\x80\x93 All admin work can be done from the comfort of your own home! The current expectation is 1-2 days a week. You will also be able to manage your own diary with visits.
• Manageable caseload \xe2\x80\x93 Full-time workers manage a caseload of 20 children NOT families. You will be able to dedicate the necessary time to each case without the stress of balancing too many cases at once.
• An experienced management team \xe2\x80\x93 You will be able to gain more knowledge and progress your professional and personal skills within Social Work!
• Opportunity for supervision and advising of more junior staff members \xe2\x80\x93 ASYE\xe2\x80\x99s and support workers are on the team which allows for you to gain supervisory experience to assist with future progression within your practice.

• Experience working in a Looked After Children (LAC) team
• Social Work qualification
• Social Work England registration
• DBS on the update service
• Full driving licence and own vehicle
• Available to start ASAP
