Newport City Council Childrens Services are seeking inspirational and dynamic social worker who are able to make positive contributions to transform the lives of the families we work with. You will work within a service focused on person-centred and strength based approaches committed to achieving Wellbeing outcomes that enable families to safely live together.



Newport is a great place to live and work being a geographically small City with a diverse population of which 35,000 are children and young people. Newport is situated on the M4 corridor and is located between Bristol and Cardiff with excellent transport links further afield. For this role you will be a practitioner with a professional social work qualification, DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent and registered with the Care Council Wales (or able to transfer from HCPC or similarly recognised body)
