About this opportunity
Social Work Degree Apprenticeship with UCLAN - Do you want to earn whilst you learn? Do you want to join a profession where every day is different, and where you make a real difference to children and their families? If so, then this exciting new role could be for you! In this role you will attend UCLAN University in Preston every Monday to study social work and you will work within a role in Children and Family Wellbeing Tuesday - Thursday. During your workdays you will do things such as direct work with children, supervise family time, assist with referrals to other agencies and contribute to assessments and plans. During the apprenticeship you will complete two placements, a 70-day placement and a 100 day placement; both will be within social work teams within Children and Family Wellbeing to help to gain more valuable social work skills. This role will be undoubtedly rewarding! We look forward to hearing from you'
This role is available on a fixed-term basis.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is - Enhanced DBS Check with a Children's Barred List check.
