Key Accountabilities:



Develop as one of the subject matter experts for our hybrid and electric propulsion systems. Drive product development across both software and hardware domains. Deliver engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives for the hybrid systems. Provide technical support to customers and the sales team, including fault diagnosis and resolution. Own the software control and management process for hybrid products. Support production and manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency. Assist in developing and delivering training programmes for internal and external stakeholders. Travel occasionally for customer commissioning and on-site technical support (UK and overseas).

Professional Qualifications & Experience Sought:



Degree in Electronics and Software Engineering (or equivalent). 3+ years in engineering or manufacturing (5+ years preferred). Proven experience in developing complex systems with both hardware and software components. Strong background in embedded software design and C++ programming. Familiarity with CAN bus systems and standards (e.g., NMEA 2000). Experience with low voltage systems (high voltage a plus). Customer-facing support and field service experience. Exposure to lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Team leadership or mentoring experience is a bonus. Marine or hybrid propulsion experience is advantageous.

Expertise in C++ programming. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Highly motivated, proactive, and deadline-driven. Knowledge of ISO9001, Health and Safety at Work Act, and Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma practices. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
