Join Tipalti's Procurement team as a Software Architect and take a hands-on role in launching an exciting new product that will redefine finance automation. With ambitious plans to grow our customer base tenfold over the next year, you'll directly shape our technical direction and solve complex challenges around scalability, performance, and elegant architecture.



You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that power the future of global finance operations.

Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global company headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi, and Medellin.

What You'll Do

Lead the design and development of full-stack features, focusing on backend (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js) and front-end (React). Build and own new features in our core product from concept through production--delivering real impact at scale. Ensure code excellence by producing readable, testable, and maintainable software. Architect scalable systems that perform smoothly under heavy load. Identify and address technical and business challenges, proactively proposing and implementing solutions. Drive re-architecture initiatives to enable future scalability and performance. Mentor and guide developers, sharing best practices in coding, testing, and system design to foster a collaborative, high-performing team.

About You

Passionate about software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices. Experienced with microservice architecture and distributed systems. Strong server-side development expertise with Node.js. Skilled with databases (SQL, MongoDB) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka). Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and driving continuous improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams. A strong sense of ownership and accountability for technical direction and operational excellence.
