Once For All is a high-growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business. Our technology helps our customers to manage their supply chain governance, risk management and compliance. We work across public and private sector and have over 250k customers across the UK across 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality education, facility and property management, manufacturing, local and central government.


Role Summary

:




The Strategic Schemes development team within Once For All is responsible for the delivery of a SaaS platform delivered across multiple sectors to Tier 1 clients in the UK's largest industries. Our .NET Webforms application is used by around 25,000 companies across the globe and is hosted using Microsoft Servers in IIS, with a MS SQL database and several supporting .NET API's and services.


The team are looking for an experienced software developer to continue with the delivery of new functionality to this platform while maintaining ongoing technical support, as well as providing our clients with a best in class software offering. The successful candidate will also participate in the development and monitoring of new features introduced to the systems, as well as maintaining quality documentation and ensuring high standards are established and maintained across software monitoring and support.





Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:





Writing exceptional software that adds desired functionality for our clients and products. Conducting code reviews Refactoring existing code into a scalable N tier architecture. Contributing to agile ceremonies alongside teammates Scheduling and releasing production deployments using CI/CD pipelines. Essential Multiple years using

C# to create web based applications

(ideally using Webforms)

HTML / CSS

proficiency. Experience working with, integrating with and creating REST APIs Strong SQL Server / TSQL proficiency, outside of using ORM's. Experience with Unit Testing Experience with CI / CD pipelines Agile Methodology. Experience contributing within agile ceremonies. Experience with applications hosted on servers via IIS Knowledge of design patterns and principals, and the ability to apply the best case for the scenario in question. Additional ability to create technical specifications and estimates Incident management and a willing to take ownership of an issue from inception to resolution. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Geneos, Grapfana, Azure Monitor etc) Ability to identify business priorities based on SLA's Mentoring experience of junior developers.
