Cheltenham/Hybrid




50,000 - 55,000 per annum, plus Pension, Life Assurance, EAP, Performance Awards, Long Service Awards, and lots of opportunities for training and development.





The role reports to our Chief Technical Officer and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.



We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our growing software team. This is a unique opportunity to work on our bespoke laundry management software, a critical system that underpins the operational efficiency of our business. You'll play a key role in enhancing, maintaining, and evolving this platform to meet the needs of our internal users and support our continued growth. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in C# (including Blazor and WinForms), JavaScript, MAUI, Microsoft SQL Server, JSON, and REST APIs, with the ability to work across both front-end and back-end components of a business-critical system.

Developing and maintaining bespoke laundry management software to support core business operations. Integrating third-party software systems to enhance functionality and data flow. Collaborating with the data team to support reporting and analytics using Microsoft Fabric. Translating functional specifications into technical solutions and hand over to the implementation team for deployment. Ensuring code quality, version control, and documentation using Microsoft DevOps.


Our ideal candidate will have:


A minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience. Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and HTML-based interfaces. Proven track record of integrating third-party software systems. Experience using Microsoft DevOps for version control and project tracking. Strong programming skills in a modern language (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python).




In addition, you will be proficient in debugging, testing and performance tuning, and are able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.



You will be a good communicator, self motivated with a proactive approach, detail-oriented and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.



In addition, you will hold a driving licence (some requirement to occasionally travel to other sites) and have proof of Right to Work in the UK.
