About us:
Airbus offers a unique opportunity for you to learn and work alongside satellites, while testing and refining your programming skills to meet industry standards. Our office provides a welcoming environment where everyone is knowledgeable and happy to assist. You will have the chance to see the environments where payloads are built and witness how your software contributions have a direct impact on the production process.
Hosted within the Engineering organisation, the Data Engineering department spans two of our major UK sites. We are involved in satellite projects from Earth Observation, Navigation & Science missions, as well as cutting-edge Telecommunications Payloads. We design, build, and deploy a range of software solutions to enhance our stakeholders' data and digitalise their working environments.
For this internship, you will have the chance to work on software for our latest telecom satellite design, OneSat, as well as our larger, complex Eurostar NEOs.
What you will be doing:
Within this Internship, we'll provide training and the latest tools for you to experience the full-stack of software development in an Agile environment. Those theories you've learnt in University shall come to life in real world requirements.
