Software Developer

We're on the lookout for a talented and driven Software Developer to join our growing Tech team in Leeds. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining the software that powers our cutting-edge HealthTech solutions. From integrating with NHS systems to enhancing internal tools, your work will directly impact how healthcare is delivered across the UK.

You'll work with a variety of technologies, including cloud-based middleware, and contribute to embedding our solutions into major third-party platforms such as EPRs, the NHS App, and the NHS Spine.

Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. Integrate third-party systems using APIs and cloud middleware. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in existing applications. Adapt code to evolving API specifications and improve performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Mentor other developers and promote best practices in coding and architecture. Contribute to the evolution of our agile development processes. Monitor deployed applications for performance and reliability. Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and integration strategies. Work with external users to gather and act upon any feedback given. Collaborate with third-party software suppliers to identify integration points and best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience



Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. Strong experience with TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and JSON. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Proven experience deploying software into production environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred (Nice to Have)



Experience with Flutter, NetSuite, and Jira. Familiarity with healthcare systems or NHS integration. Experience mentoring other developers.
