Job Description

Hanson Wade is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our growing development team. You'll play a vital role in building and maintaining our industry-leading software, systems, and digital products that support the global drug development community.


Our team Beacon, a powerful data platform that delivers up-to-date insights on drugs, clinical trials, deals, and companies to help accelerate critical decision-making in life sciences.

What You'll Be Doing:




As an individual contributor, you'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders across the business.





Key responsibilities include:



Strong experience with C# and .NET in a commercial setting Developing and maintaining robust, scalable software solutions in line with our technology strategy Contributing to codebase improvements and development best practices with guidance from the Technical Lead. Supporting product requirement gathering and implementation in collaboration with the Product and QA teams. Designing and maintaining content data models and delivery formats. Helping to manage infrastructure and environments with a focus on resilience, security, and performance. Supporting live applications by enhancing support processes, monitoring, and incident response. Working cross-functionally to continually enhance our digital products.

Required Skills & Experience:



Strong experience with C# and .NET in a commercial setting Solid understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform (e.g. Functions, Cosmos DB, AI Search, Service Bus) SQL development experience Proficient in version control using Git

Desirable Skills:



Experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server Knowledge of software architecture patterns (e.g. CQRS, mediator) Exposure to full-stack development (e.g. Angular, TypeScript, CSS) Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) Awareness of DevOps practices and security best practices on Azure
