Direct2AI is building the UK's most accessible AI-powered CRM and communications platform. We're creating an end-to-end system that automates customer interactions across voice, SMS, and email, giving SMEs the tools to improve customer service, sales, and marketing without the overheads of traditional systems.

We are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in building, scaling, and improving our AI-driven CRM platform.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain features for the Direct2AI CRM platform. Work with AI integrations (voice, SMS, email, chatbots) to deliver scalable solutions. Develop APIs and integrations with third-party services. Support the migration from open-source services to proprietary Direct2AI tools (email & SMS engines). Ensure data security and compliance with GDPR. Collaborate with the founding team to refine product features and improve user experience. Contribute to testing, debugging, and performance optimisation.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Software Developer (2-5+ years). Strong knowledge of Python, Node.js, or similar backend frameworks. Experience with front-end development (React, Angular, or Vue). Database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with API integrations and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with CRM platforms, SaaS products, or AI/automation tools is desirable. Understanding of GDPR and data security best practices.
