As part of Xpedite's exciting growth plans, we are seeking a Software Developer to join our Intelligence Delivery Team (IDT) in Bath. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and testable solutions using the latest technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities
As a Software Developer, your responsibilities will include:
Leading software development projects.
Develop, maintain, and assure quality of internal software solutions.
Conduct a range of testing types including integration, performance, and security testing to ensure robust and secure deployments.
Continuously learn and stay updated with technological advancements.
Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders on product improvements.
Explore and integrate emerging technologies to develop innovative solutions aligned with business proposals.
Communicate programming results clearly through reports and documentation.
Follow coding best practices and processes ensuring secure development practices aligned with NCSC principles.
Support research and development efforts for organisational improvements.
Mentoring Junior Software Developers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
Knowledge of .NET, stack such as C#, WPF, Blazor, MAUI, and ASP.NET.
Experience of version control systems such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
Ability to demonstrate programming knowledge.
Desirable
Knowledge of Agile principles.
Experience developing with OOP languages.
Qualification or degree in relevant discipline, preferably STEM subjects.
Knowledge of cloud systems, such as Azure, ORACLE, and AWS.
Microsoft Certifications in:
Azure Fundamentals (AZ?900)
Azure Developer Associate (AZ?204)
DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ?400)
