Contribute as part of a business-aligned squad to build resilient, scalable and secure integrations that delivers real value to your customers
Write clean, maintainable and testable code, actively participating in code reviews to uphold quality and share knowledge within your team
Collaborate with business functions to translate business requirements into technology solutions that align with our strategic goals and customer needs

About you
You'll fit right into this role if you:
Have a strong understanding of programming concepts and experience building production-grade applications in one or more of the following areas: .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTFUL API development, Messaging, Azure Cloud
Vue.js (TypeScript, Jest, Component Libraries) although this is not essential
Are familiar with modern development practices and have an understanding of things like version control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
Have some hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (ideally Azure) and are keen to explore how cloud-native technologies can support scalable, secure, and modern technology solutions
Understand the value of testing and have an interest in automated testing and test-driven development (TDD) as part of building reliable, maintainable software
Appreciate the importance of security in software development and consider risk levels when designing and implementing technology solutions, striving to always follow security best practice
Have begun exploring LLMs and AI developer tools like GitHub CoPilot, and are comfortable leveraging them to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and code quality
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and are comfortable explaining development concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Embrace being a lifelong learner who actively seeks feedback, embraces new technologies, and is committed to continuous improvement and growth
Are a team player who communicates clearly, listens actively and values diverse perspectives

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Integration team at Greggs as a Software Developer to deliver resilient, highly available business critical integrations.
Working in an agile, cross-functional team, you'll help build a scalable, secure platform supporting key integrations with internal and external systems to ensure the flow of timely and accurate data.
