You'll be joining our IT department within our office called

Support Centre

, which is in Greater Manchester (M26 1GG).

The role is a FTC for 12 months initially Full time hours Hybrid working arrangements - 1 day a week onsite (M26 1GG) Joining our supportive and growing data team You will benefit from free onsite parking and Kearsley train station is just a short walk away With an onsite mini market shop and casual seating space inside and outside (for the sunnier days)

Your future, your role




As a Software Developer, you'll be:

Working closely with the internal development team and departments across the organisation to design, implement, and enhance web-based applications predominantly the mydentist corporate website. Integrate and customise Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage and deliver website content effectively Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between server-side logic and user-facing interfaces Troubleshoot and resolve software defects efficiently, performing root-cause analysis where needed Contribute innovative ideas to improve application design, tooling, and performance

You will need:

Proven experience in software development, ideally within a web or digital product environment Strong proficiency in C# and experience using Entity Framework Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with CMS platforms (ideally Sitefinity) and integration into .NET web applications Experience deploying to or maintaining applications on cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
