Job Description

PAVE Insight, a groundbreaking startup at the forefront of the connected mobility research industry, is seeking a dynamic Software Developer to drive the design, creation, testing, and maintenance of the front and back-end of the PAVE Platform. We are looking for a results-oriented individual, with a proven track record in success roles within technology startups.



Tasks



Collaborate to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet PAVE's client requirements and project objectives.



Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment



Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards



Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to PAVE Insight's coding guidelines



Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions



Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in software development, and make recommendations for process improvements and new technology adoption



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.



Requirements



Bachelor's degree (or relevant experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field



Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development roles, with a focus on designing and building scalable and reliable software solutions - (backend and frontend)



Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript and JavaScript, as well as web development technologies such as HTML, Next.js, React, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.



Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL as well as cloud service providers such as AWS.



Experience with software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks, such as Agile, Scrum, Git, and JIRA



Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions



Experience in the automotive or connected mobility industry is an asset



Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels



Capacity to work autonomously



Proven experience with tasks, processes and workflows automation



Passion for technology, connected mobility and a commitment to continuous learning



Good knowledge of the English language, spoken and written.



For this role, we are offering a contractor or freelancer an opportunity to collaborate about 15 days/month from a remote location (time zone should match mostly with GMT, however).
