Overview
We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software systems that support key business operations.
You'll be working on a range of projects involving both new technologies and legacy systems, working across the full development lifecycle. The role sits within a small, team of developers and operates in a hybrid working environment.
How you'll make an impact
Key Objectives
As a .NET Developer, you will aid in improving and coordinating core systems, encompassing:

  • Client reporting tools
  • Claim intake systems
  • Back-office claims systems
  • APIs supporting these platforms
Main Responsibilities
  • Review existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Present improvement ideas to management and team members
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
  • Produce detailed specifications and write clean, maintainable code
  • Conduct initial testing prior to handover to the QA team
  • Maintain and optimise systems for performance and reliability
About You
Essential:
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in C# and ASP.NET (MVC crucial; Web Forms desirable)
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server
  • Experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • GCSEs (preferably in Maths and English)
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
Desirable:
  • Experience with React
  • Familiarity with source control systems (preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of web application security protocols
  • Experience with Entity Framework
