XEIAD are a part of the BES Group and are the largest provider of civil infrastructure inspections in the UK.

Main Purpose

To support the Structures Engineering Team in the efficient and effective development of Xeiad FileMaker solutions. To provide guidance on development strategy and utilise experience in identifying issues with current system set up. As a FileMaker Developer at Xeiad your focus will be the upkeep and developing our existing FileMaker system. You will need to keep up to date on the latest Claris Studio releases and show where we can use these to enhance our systems for both staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Xeiad teams, in order that their technical requirements are fully understood and implemented
\xc2\xb7 Work with the route examination teams in order to ensure that technically compliant reports are produced by the FileMaker system
\xc2\xb7 Take responsibility for your career development and competence progression, and be able to work with minimum supervision when necessary
\xc2\xb7 Coach, mentor and supervise Junior FileMaker developers within the team based on their individual experience and capability
\xc2\xb7 Support the career development of team members to promote a highly engaged and high-performing team
\xc2\xb7 Promote innovation within the contract and support research in the development of new solutions

Requirements:
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 5 years FileMaker developer experience
\xc2\xb7 Familiar with integrating solutions by using their API, web service or a workflow automation platform
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Windows server, Postgres Db, and SQL server is ideal.
\xc2\xb7 Familiar with Microsoft DevOps, Git repositories, source control environments
\xc2\xb7 Apollo GraphQL, RestAPIs and Vue.js front end JavaScript framework is a bonus
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of other coding or low code environments is certainly a plus
\xc2\xb7 Experience with backups, restores and replication strategies
\xc2\xb7 Exemplary ability to communicate technical concepts with written and verbal English-language communication skills
\xc2\xb7 Earlier experience in IT Security would be helpful
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and earlier use of office.com
