Duties

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, and C++. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Utilise version control systems such as Git and SVN for source code management. Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications. Work with databases including MySQL and SQL for data storage and retrieval. Engage in front-end development tasks to create responsive user interfaces. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Skills

Proficiency in programming languages: JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and C. Experience with software development methodologies and application development processes. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Azure. Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL. Understanding of version control systems like GitHub and SVN. Experience working in Linux environments is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaborating within a team setting.
