Description
As part of our continued growth, we are looking to scale our recently launched customer portal into a fully fledged SaaS platform, transforming the way we deliver services and value to our customers. While we remain a services-lead company, we believe technology and data are becoming our product, and this role is central to that evolution.
We're seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to own product delivery of our SaaS solution and lead a small but high-performing team of three developers. This team supports both the ongoing development of our customer portal and key internal line-of-business applications.
This is a unique opportunity to take real ownership, shaping and scaling innovative digital solutions that drive measurable impact for our customers, while helping us define the future of technology within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the development team
  • Drive the design of our portal and other key LOB applications.
  • Remain technically involved and hands-on, particularly in C#, .NET, and Azure
  • Review and continuously improve engineering best practices: Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
  • Ensure performance, security, and reliability of cloud-based systems
  • Act as both a technical leader and mentor, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Skills
  • Proven experience building SaaS products from the ground up.
  • Experience managing and mentoring small development teams while remaining technically hands-on.
  • Solid understanding of modern software development practices, cloud architecture, and Agile delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A problem - solver who thrives in a scaling environment where you make a real impact
Knowledge & Qualifications
  • Solid technical foundation with deep proficiency in C#, .NET and Azure cloud services
  • Bachelor's degree in computing or equivalent hand on experience in software development
