Are you an experienced
Software Development Manager
looking to take on a pivotal leadership role in a forward-thinking technology environment? Based in Swansea, this is an exciting opportunity to manage the development of innovative software products used by global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multi-disciplinary software development teams
Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple solutions
Collaborate with technical architects and stakeholders to define technical direction
Implement and enforce software development best practices and coding standards
Identify risks, manage sprint backlogs, and continuously improve team performance
Drive the adoption of modern development tools, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
Mentor team members and foster a positive, results-driven culture
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven background in software development (6+ years)
Minimum 2 years in a leadership or software management role
Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering principles
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Familiarity with modern development stacks (e.g., .NET, Java, Python, or similar)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
