This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the development, testing and delivery of applications that support our next generation Broadband CPE, including Broadband Smart Hubs, Smart Wi-Fi and Hybrid Connect (4G) modems.



You will need to work effectively as part of an Agile squad responsible for the design and development of cutting-edge client applications, working alongside highly skilled software and networking developers and testers, within the Broadband Devices tribe.

What you'll be doing

Responsible for technical development of user stories in the Broadband Mobile App development team Deliver resolutions to problems that tend to be complex, cross-domain or of high impact to customers Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve code quality Work effectively as part of Agile delivery squads Use Scrum/ Jira/ Wiki for tracking Agile workflow deliveries Support proactive improvement initiatives

What you'll bring

Mandatory


At least 2 years of professional software development experience Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders from across the business and ability to communicate complex technical matter Hands on skills and knowledge on Mobile App development with recent experience in Flutter/ Dart or iOS (Swift) Experience in using code revision, issue tracking and continuous integration tools e.g. Git, Jira, GitLab Good knowledge of Agile delivery methods and tools e.g. Scrum, Jira, Wiki Ability to self-develop in required areas




Nice to have


Experience in Splunk or similar data analysis tools Experience in UI/ UX and accessibility design Experience in Django/ Python Experience in Docker/ Linux Experience in CI/ CD tools Knowledge of Automated testing tools and methods Knowledge of LAN/ Wi-Fi terms and concepts Experience in web technologies such as React, Angular, JS, HTML
