A growing technology business is developing a new internal software platform used by their engineering teams to design, simulate and optimise complex industrial systems. They are now looking for a
Software Engineer
to help build and scale this platform, working closely with mechanical and aerothermal specialists.The Role
You'll be part of a small, fast-moving team responsible for:Developing and maintaining software modules in C++/C# and Python Integrating internal tools and commercial simulation packages Automating engineering workflows and supporting cloud-based computation Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to solve technical challenges
What They're Looking For
Degree in engineering, science, or computer science (2:1 or above) Strong experience with
C++ or C#
, plusPython
Good understanding of software design principles Strong communication and problem-solving skills Able to manage your own workload and deliver projects independentlyDesirable
Experience with:
+ Full-stack development (e.g., Vue3, Typescript, Django)
+ Cloud deployments (AWS, Kubernetes/EKS)
+ Machine learning or agentic AI pipelines
+ Basic understanding of FEA/CFD or engineering simulation workflows
