LOCATION: Salford- Dock House - Hybrid This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: Up to 57,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Universal Content team is responsible for delivering metadata to the BBC's online and broadcast products. We support several large-scale programme metadata APIs and are currently building a new metadata distribution system to ensure content is shared reliably and efficiently across the BBC.
Our backend systems are used by teams across the organisation - including BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport, and BBC Weather - to determine what content can be played and when. These teams rely on us to deliver metadata about programmes and short-form content quickly and accurately.
