Experience in front-end or back-end web development using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and CSS*
MSc in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics)*
Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL database systems*

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join a dynamic healthcare technology team focused on developing real-time clinical decision support tools. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is passionate about applying software development skills to improve patient care through innovative healthcare systems and machine learning technologies.


The position is set to commence ASAP and will be Part-time (18.75 hrs p/w) for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of 20.38 per hour + holiday pay


Key Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain in-house healthcare systems and analytical algorithms Improve system functionality and performance for real-time use in clinical decision support environments Ensure systems meet clinical accuracy, reliability, and usability standards Support data collection across multiple studies Integrate machine learning technologies into clinical workflows in real-time settings Ensure smooth and secure flow of data between systems, devices, and databases Work collaboratively with project teams, clinical partners, and academic and industry stakeholders Maintain professional and effective communication across technical and clinical disciplines Participate in regular meetings and provide technical updates to stakeholders Stay up to date with developments in remote monitoring, healthcare analytics, and real-time clinical systems Actively contribute to technical planning and project development discussions

Selection Criteria



MSc in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics) Experience in front-end or back-end web development using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and CSS Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL database systems Experience with Java (or Kotlin) for native Android application development Understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes Experience with version control systems (preferably Git) Comfortable working in a Windows Server environment Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced, and iterative development team
