Software Engineer (Java) - Quant Trading - London - Up to 150,000 + bonus
Durlston Partners is working with a leading Quant Trading firm seeking a Software Engineer (Java), where your Java expertise directly powers real-time market decisions. You'll build high-performance, low-latency services, optimise JVM performance, and collaborate closely with traders and quants on systems that handle massive data streams.
What You'll Do:
Develop and optimize core Java trading infrastructure Improve performance, throughput, and reliability of real-time systems Work with trading teams to implement and deploy new ideas quickly
What They're Looking For:
Relevant working in Systematic Trading/Crypto/Finance Strong Java skills, concurrency, and performance tuning experience Background in high-throughput or real-time systems Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast, iterative environment
