Angstrom is growing fast, and we're looking for a Software Engineer to help us scale our microservices-based platform and deliver high-quality, high-performance software in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.


You'll play a hands-on role in solving technical challenges, contributing to system architecture, and building solutions that directly impact our innovative forecasting products.


You will have a deep technical understanding of software engineering, cloud services, quality metrics, observability, operational processes, code agility leveraging code extensibility principles and be able to work across teams to solve technical issues whilst maintaining a strong product delivery vision.

What you'll do:



Produce technical solutions in alignment with architectural and engineering principles in close collaboration with the team Review code, offering constructive feedback to enhance quality and adherence to best practices. Help to remove technical blockers for the team, enabling them to work effectively and efficiently Support continuous improvement by suggesting new products, technologies, and ways of working for evaluation Ensure high quality design, coding, and unit test coverage. Support of the software development team to ensure the implementation of code quality guidelines and standards. Support technical decisions within the team. Execute technical risk assessment within the development area. Understand and applies defined processes within Angstrom development. Supports continuous improvement of processes. Acquire knowledge of the domain, used technologies and developed software solutions. Facilitate knowledge sharing within and across teams. Consult business in analysing requirements, scope and dependencies, providing effort estimates and finding decisions. Support peers with the preparation of releases.


Qualifications

3+ years' experience in software development Solid C#/.NET (8/9) skills with a focus on scalable, maintainable code Experience with Redis, Kafka, MySQL, Docker, and Kubernetes Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines Proactive mindset with solid time management and problem-solving abilities Bonus: Datadog, or a passion for sports and data, industry experience in Betting & Gaming or Sports Analytics, Financial Services - experience with AWS services, including: CloudWatch, Lambda, S3, EKS, ECS, CloudFormation
